I managed a team of over 15 students to create this 4 minute, award winning, stop-motion film, directed by Max Thomas.

Slump follows Lloyd, an exhausted, overworked author, as he tries to finish his latest novel. As his exhaustion causes things to turn strange, Lloyd must fight sleep and make his way to his coffee machine for a much needed cup of coffee.

The stop-motion nature of this project, coupled with the elaborate visuals of the film made it a challenge to plan for.

Slump has won best production design at the London Film Club, July 2026 festival and will also be screening at Pineapple Film Festival in August 2026. I'm so proud of how far Slump has gone and it's incredibly gratifying to see our hard work be rewarded and am looking forward to seeing where the rest of our festival run takes us!

Working as a producer on a small project means wearing many hats and for Slump I had the chance to develop my skills in areas I hadn’t considered before. A new area I explored was promoting the film via social media. For this, I enjoyed doing photo shoots with our puppet lead to create entertaining posts with our lead actor, Lloyd. Through our social media I also ran two Kickstarter fundraisers. The first of which funded the materials to create the set for our film and the second funded our current festival run.
